Lighting for my Family Room

We have had an issue with the lighting in our family room for a long time now. My husband is always complaining about not being able to read in there because of not enough light. I am so tired of hearing about it, so I plan to make a purchase this week to remedy the problem. I love the Alessi design, so this will give me the perfect excuse to buying it. I truly enjoy buying new things for my house, and even though this is something I am needing, it still excites me because it is new. Remodeling is my second nature, so every opportunity I get then I definitely take advantage of it. I don't even mind if my husband thinks it is his idea. Who cares? As long as I am getting something new. Now all I can hope for is he finds another room that he don't like the lighting in. Maybe I should tell him to look around the house since I will be placing an order anyway. He might actually decide some other rooms need new lighting. It will be worth a try. That's how I usually get him cornered into buying something else and poor thing, he doesn't even know it.
