Wanting to go to Alaska

Have you ever wanted to Travel Alaska? I have wanted to go there for years. Lately, I have been looking into some different Alaska Travel plans. I figure if I don't start making some type of plans then I'll never get to go. I am usually the one that does all the planning, then I present it to my "better half." I don't think he will have a problem with it, because he likes Alaska too. But he gets frustrated when it comes to plan making.

I am starting out with finding info for Denali Park. I know he would like to visit there. Well, I would too. But I want to see so many different things in Alaska, so it could be challenging trying to fit it all in our time frame. There is so much planning involved. It's a lot more than just finding a place to stay. You have to figure out the cheapest way to get there and then not waste time once your there. You want to know what you are going to do ahead of time. I am also hoping to go ahead and purchase tickets and such ahead of time. I figure this will cut down on a lot of wasted time. Well I'm off to search some more.

All About The Display

Have you ever wondered why it is at trade shows everything looks so good? It just makes you want to buy everything the dealer has for sale. I know it does me. I was looking into some different types of trade show display firms in sydney and figured out why things look so great. They have some of the best exhibit stands and backdrops I have ever seen. I would definitely consider purchasing from then at my next big event.

I also seem to have problems arranging my brochures for my tables. I hate putting them on the table, simply because they end up all over the place, even on the floor. So, I started looking around for something better. I noticed these brochure stands australia. They seem to have things so much neater and organized. I am definitely reworking my plans for my next show. It's going to be great!

Tuesday and Guess What?

You got it, it's Tuesday and it's still raining. Is it ever going to end. I realize that the spring time it rains quite a bit. I know that helps flower beds and gardens to grow, but if it doesn't stop raining then I'm not even going to be able to plant anything so that it can grow. This is beginning to be a little ridiculous. I also have so many other things piling up on me that need to be done outside. So, I guess I will sit here and watch it rain and wish for sunshine.

My April Plans

I am taking an hour today to make my list for April. I need to work harder in a few areas and making plans and goals seem to keep me more on track. So, I figure I might as well write these goals down on paper, so I can check them off as they are done. One thing I am going to work harder on starting the first is my ehow articles. I was on such a good role in the beginning and then I just let it slide. But in just a few days I am getting back at it. Wish me luck!

Decisions on a Puppy

I have been trying to decide on what kind of puppy I want to get. I know some of you make think, "Just get a puppy you think is cute." But I want to watch out from falling for the cute puppy face. I want to be aware of what it is going to look like once it is an adult. I know I want a prissy dog, it's just which one? I like Yorkies, Shih-Tzu, Pomerian, and Maltese. I would love to have a teacup, but I have heard they are too fragile and have way to many complications, so now I am trying to figure out what size I want. Maybe 5 to 7 lbs. I know I don't want one too big. Any ideas?

Looking for a Perfect Sink

My cousin just finished up with their log cabin that built on some property of land she inherited from her grandfather. She has been slowing decorating and installing appliances. This past week she was on a search for farmhouse sinks. Luckily for her, she found the perfect one and it was even on sale. I am so jealous of her new place...lol. Well, not really. I am happy for her. Now it makes me want a get-a-way place of my own. Must be nice!

Knee Replacement Surgery

Back in 1995, I had two knee replacements. This type of surgery is a major one, even if it's just one knee replacement. Your knees play a major factor in your normal daily life. Before having my surgery, I was in a wheel chair for eight months. So, needless to say, I had no other option to have this type of surgery performed.

This past summer, a friend of mine had to under a knee replacement. Hers didn't turn out quite as good as mine did. She seems to think it had a lot to do with the physician she chose to do her procedure. Now she faces a situation in which no one ever wishes to face. Makeup Shopping

One of my biggest procrastinations is shopping for cosmetics. I always put it off because I never know which colors or shades to purchase. Don't get me wrong. I love health and beauty aids, it's just finding the perfect match that gives me a little problem. If I had to choose a particular product that is the hardest for me, then I would say it is eye shadow. My eyes are blue and I seem to lean more toward bronze colors. Do you think that is bad?

I also want to try out some mineral cosmetics, but haven't had the opportunity yet. I believe the first thing I am going to try is the mineral mascara. A friend of mine wears it constantly and it looks wonderful on her. Her eyes always have that natural glow to them. So, this weekend I am making an effort to start some shopping for cosmetics. I'll let you know what I find and how well I like them in a later post.

Trying Whats Good for my Body

Here lately, I have been trying to do what is good for my body. I figure if I am going to diet, then I should also try to take care of my body in the process. A friend of mine has introduced me to organic whey. To be honest, I had never heard of it until she mentioned it to me. They are some of the best protein drinks on the market today.

My husband also decided he wanted something for energy. So I recommended the energy protein powder to him. Now he is addicted and wouldn't go a day with one. I am thrilled he is joining me in trying to do good things for his body. This is going to be a new venture for us for quite a while. It's like the yellow pages with tons more information. All you have to do is start your local search and all your information will be there. The directions, business hours, contact information, etc.

Just this past weekend, I was trying to locate information on some local restaurants. I immediately went to this site and didn't have to look any further. Everything I could possibly want was right there. It even gave me reviews for this place. How neat is that? You should check it out!

More Vitamins

Well I finally got a report back from my Rheumatologist in the mail concerning my blood work. Apparently, I need to start taking some Vitamin D tablets along with the Calcium that I already take. If you don't have enough Vitamin D is your body then taking the Calcium is pretty much a waste. The Vitamin D is what helps to absorb the Calcium. I wasn't aware of this, so off I go to buy some Vitamin D tablets today.

I don't know which is more shoe crazy, me or my daughter. We both love shoes and have more than we will ever wear. It seems we just don't know when to stop. Have you been searching for unsecured loans? I know I have thought about a loan for my business, especially in the start up phase. It is hard getting a business up off the ground and using money straight out of your pocket. Problem is, you still have to pay the bills while getting the business going. Chores Around the House

One of my least favorite chores around the house is to vacuum. I hate this and one of the main reasons is because of my allergies. Of course, it is hard on my arms too, but my allergies give me the worse fit. It has gotten so bad that my husband usually ends up doing it to keep me from being sick the rest of the day. I have tried all types of allergy medications, but nothing seems to work. I am thinking I should start investigating in some other type of vacuum cleaner. I know there has to be something out there that I can use without making myself sick.

A Trip to California

I have been helping my cousin with planning her trip for this summer. She will be visiting Anaheim. It seems there are different places she can stay, so I have been helping her with find the best Anaheim California hotel. That's a job in itself. Not to mention booking the flight and places for her to visit while she is there. I realize she is going there for business, but she will have three days that are pretty much free to experience some different and exciting locations.
