New Kitchen Floors

My husband finally finished with the kitchen floor and I am so happy. It has had my entire house in an unorganized disaster, but after seeing the new porcelain tile on the floor, it made it all worth it. I love it and if you have never really seen a room with this type of tile, then your missing out. I can't imagine how much easier it is going to be to keep my kitchen clean now.

Kitchen Remodeling

My husband has been helping one of his best friends remodel their kitchen. It has really been a difficult task since they want some unusual items in there. This morning he was looking to see what kind of deals he could find on copper kitchen sinks. I can't imagine having a copper sink and didn't realize I would like them so much until I started helping him search for deals. They are extremely pretty. Maybe I'll consider one myself after seeing theirs installed.

My Friends Restaurant

I have been helping a friend of mine get ready to open her new restaurant. This is not only going to be exciting for her, but for me as well. I feel almost like I have a stake in this restaurant since I have helped her get it up and running.

This morning I come up with a cool idea. Since she is going to have daily specials, then she needs to post them in some way. I noticed you can buy a Dry Erase Calendar that would be perfect for this type of thing. A Dry Erase Calendar would not only be the economical choice for what she needs to do, but it would also give a really unique appearance. It will also allow customers to see what would be on the menu for the next days special, which I think is an excellent idea for bringing customers back in for future visits.

My Cousin is Getting Married

I am so excited for my cousin, he is finally getting married. This is something that he and his girlfriend have been putting off for quite some time now. The main reason they have been waiting is because of the difficulty in finding a place to live. She didn't want to live in an apartment since she has lived in one for the past ten years. They have decided to look into purchasing a manufactured home, which I think is an excellent idea. I wish them both the best of luck!

My Own Gym

I know this sounds like I am trying to just find a way to buy some exercise equipment, but I honestly think I would do so much better with my exercising if I had my own home gym. I have two different friends who have their own personal home gyms. I ask them if the do work out more than if they had to actually drive to the gym. Both said they work out twice as much and I believe them from looking at how fit and trim their body has gotten over the past few months. This is definitely something I am going to be looking into too.

Still Trying to Decide

My husband and I are still trying to decide on a Myrtle Beach Hotel. We want to take a little vacation and we truly love this area. Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotels are one of our favorite places to stay. It is so family oriented and there are tons of things to do in this area.

Today, we have made it our mission to look through about three different Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotel places and pick one. If we don't get to work on this then we will end up putting it off and not being able to go while it is still warm weather. It just seems like every year it gets harder and harder to work around our work schedule and plan a vacation. Last night, I informed my husband that if I have too, then I will just take some work with me to do while I am there. It beats not getting to go at all, right?

Not Another Sinus Infection

It seems everytime someone in my family turns around one of us gets a sinus infection. To me, there are very few types of infections that can be worse. Of course, I may be saying that now because I have a sinus infection. Either way about it, I try to nip it in the bud as soon as I feel one coming on.

It's hard to go to the doctor each time I have a sinus infection, but as soon as I feel sinus infection symptoms coming on, I try to do something about it. My next move is going to be trying colloidal silver nasal spray. Some of my friends won't try anything else because they say it works the best. This one friend actually has more infections than I do, and I trust her judgement completely. So, I'm going to give it a try. I'll let you know what I think.

Thinking About The Beach

My husband and I have been thinking about taking four or five days off and heading to the beach before the summer is over. We usually go to the beach a few times a year, but we just haven't had the time this year to go but once. That was back at the beginning of the summer. Actually it was before it turned warm here. Now I have the fever to return. Tonight I am going to be looking for some destin deals. It has been a couple of years since we visited Destin, Florida, so it will be a nice change.

Looking Into Trading Online

This past week, I have been venturing out into something new. I wanted to see what my options were in Online Trading. To me, having an Online Broker would save me a lot of time and effort of having to go visit one. With First Trade, I wouldn't have to schedule it into my appointment calendar and try to work other appointments around it. I am thinking it would make things a lot easier in the long run.

Stock Trading, for me, is fairly new. My husband actually introduced it to me when we got married last year. For some reason, I took a special interest in it and have loved it ever since. When I sold my old house, I decided that I would take some of that money and invest it to hopefully make more. Now I am going to have the enjoyment of being able to do that from the comfort of my own home. I'm excited about this and I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.

On a Mission

I always keep a "to do" list on my desk. Of course, most of the time it stays pretty jammed packed. I try to keep the top priorities highlighted, so today I added a top priority to my list. It is to find my husband a new tuxedo shirt. He needs one in a bad sort of way. I know it shouldn't be top priority, but he has asked me if I have ordered or found him one approximately five times now. I figure if I move it to top priority, then I won't have to be so embarrassed the next time he ask about it.

The Coolest Key Ever

I know exactly what I am going to ask for on my birthday this year. I know it may sound a little crazy, but it's a keyless lock. I can't imagine not ever having to dig my keys out to get in the house. That would be like a dream come true.

With the keyless lock, all I need is my finger. How cool is that? Just put your finger on it and your door will unlock. There are also other advantages to the keyless lock. One of them is not having to give my child a key to the house, which she has already lost a couple of times. Another advantage is not having to give the lady a key that takes care of my dogs when we are out of town. With this new and wonderful invention, I can just give her temporary access to my house. I am so thrilled and can't wait until my birthday. Funny thing is, I know once I have my new lock system, then all my friends are going to want one too.

My Friend's Mother

A friend of mine has been having a hard time dealing with her mother who was diagnosed with mesothelioma this past year. The mesothelioma prognosis was not so good when she was first diagnosed, or actually it was peritoneal mesothelioma.

I plan on going down to Florida and visit her and her mother in just a couple of weeks. I feel for them and I am hoping for a recovery, but things are not looking good. I can't imagine what she is having to deal with, and I know this is going to be a very depressing trip. However, on the other hand, I know it is something I need and want to do for her. I want to be able to help her out in any way that I can. I will be continuing to do my work while I am there. Just please keep her and her family in your prayers and hope for the best.

My Daughter Loves to Spend Money

My daughter just loves to spend money. I guess one thing I should be thankful for is she prefers to buy her own clothes. She some of her shopping in actual stores, but she is also a big fan of shopping online, especially at places like Zappos.

Just yesterday she was telling me about some new pants and shoes she bought at a really good deal. I am actually proud of her, because lately she has been picking out some really neat clothing that makes her look her age instead of some young teenager.

I was thinking maybe I should have her look online and show me some of the things she likes and then I could order her some things for her birthday. I always find myself wondering around at birthday or Christmas time, trying to figure out what to get her. I never know what she likes when it comes to clothes, so why not just give her the opportunity to show me.

I Have to Look Slim Again

After gaining a couple of pounds from my mini vacation, I realize I need to break back out the best weight loss pills ever! I say they are the best because they are truly the only thing that worked for me when I was trying to lose that fifteen pounds. Now after taking a little trip and eating at a buffet a couple of times, I need to shed a couple of pounds again, but I'm not concerned because I know that I can do it.

Oh How I Love to Shop

Most of you may already know just how much I love to shop. Clothes shopping is one of my favorite pass times. Yea, I know, it can be an expensive hobby, but I love it. Just earlier today I was trying to find some really neat dresses for my cruise that will be coming up in a few months. I was so excited to find what I was looking for at Zappos.

What I really hate is when I find something I truly love, but it's not available in my size or color. It irritates me beyond belief, but today while doing my dress shopping, I run across three different dresses at Zappos, and guess what? They had each of them in my size and in the color I wanted. This just thrilled me, so I ordered each of them. Now I have all the dresses I will be needing. I'm off to do some more shopping for cruise. I need to make a list first of what I need. Happy shopping!

Working with PDFs

Here lately I have worked with more adobe pdf file that I have ever worked with. I have never been that great with them and honestly prefer someone else in my office working with them. However, I know it's time to learn. This next week, I plan to have a friend of mine visit and she is going to teach me everthing she knows about pdfs. From how to edit pdf to convert pdf.

I know this is something I have should be good at, but I have just never taken the time to figure it out. I also want to be able to convert my pdf files into word document. That is probably one of my number priorities when she starts to teach me. Wish me luck. I know I could have read a book or even looked all of this up online. But as many of you know. I am more of a hands on type of learner instead of a paper direction follower. Now lets just hope I don't disappoint her or she'll never teach me anything else.
