The Perfect Job

My sister-in-law asked me what type of job she should be looking for that would work with her schedule. She would love to find something she could do out of her home office. I totally agree with her, but couldn't think of anything. She has worked in a doctors office for years and I knew it needed to be something pertaining to medical. That would be her best bet. So, after looking at some different alternatives and finding out more about medical coding training courses, this is definitely what she should try. She will be coming over for dinner tonight, so I am thrilled I have an answer for her. This is one I feel sure she would love to try. I'll let you know how it goes.

My Husband's Bad Habit

My husband has had a bad habit with cigarettes for as long as I've known him. The other day he said he would love to find a way to possibly quit. I know he means well and is serious, but I don't see it happening anytime soon or over night. However, I did think of something while he was talking about it. A friend of mine is buying her husband an electronic cigarette for stocking stuffer this Christmas. I never really thought about buying my husband one until we were talking about cigarettes the other day. I am going to put that on my list of purchases. It's always so hard to find things to buy for him. I know he would love this gift.

My Friend's Son

I feel so sorry for a friend of mine who's son is in drug rehab. I know it's the best place for him, but what is sad is that he won't be home for Thanksgiving. She said to me she understands and I am sure she does, but I know deep down she wish he could be here for the holidays. I plan on having my family over for Thanksgiving, but since he is her only child, I am inviting her and her husband over as well. I feel as if she is in a crowd, then it may help to get her mind off of him not being home.

My Husbands Business Trip

My husband will be taking a business trip to Canada in a few weeks. He has asked me to look into what kind of deals I can find for Toronto hotels. I have no clue about this area but as I continue to research it, I am thinking I wish I was able to go on his trip with him. I do go from time to time, but this time of year it is just too hard to get away. Why couldn't this trip had been after the winter time? I would have tried my best to go if it had of been.

Teenagers on a Trip Alone

I know I shouldn't be worried, but my daughter and her friend have been looking at some different panama city beach resorts for this upcoming spring break. I realize my daughter is already in college, but she is still only 19. I just hope she is mature enough to be able to handle a trip just the two of them. I know I have to let her grow up, but it's always hard when your kids want to do things you've done and you know you weren't on your best behavior.

My Daughter's Wish List

Normally by the time Christmas comes around each year I am able to ask my daughter what she would like to have. This year the list was just a little bit different. I can usually figure out before she tells me, but this year it was not things I would think she would want. One of the first things on her list were some Contemporary Jewelry. Then she told me she also wanted a GPS for her vehicle. I don't know if it's a sign of me getting old, or just her growing up. Maybe it's a little of both, but what happen to the days of wanting a barbie doll or a make up kit? This is scary!

Diet, here I come again!

As most of you already know, I am back from my wonderful vacation. For some reason a cruise always makes me put on weight. Wonder why? I blame it on all that great free food, especially the buffets. If you've never been on a cruise, then you just wouldn't believe how unreal it is with all that food at your finger tips. All I can say, is thank goodness I still have some phentermine left in my bottle. I am planning on starting my diet after this weekend. After all, the holidays are coming up and I don't want to add more weight to what I have already gained.

Looking in the Mirror

The last few days I looked in the mirror, I was beginning to notice these dark circles under my eyes. I'm not sure if it is from stress or age. I'm hoping for stress, but whatever the case may be, I am definitely going to be doing something about it soon. I can't be walking around in public with this under my eyes. It looks terrible. I am searching now for the best solutions. Wish me luck!
