My Friend in Oklahoma

I have a friend who lives in Oklahoma and she said the weather is actually pretty rough where she is at. She works for an Oklahoma City attorney and they are closing the office today because of all the ice and snow. Her husband is out of town and it is her living all alone. I told her she better be careful when she gets out later this evening to get some groceries. This weather is headed our way and I honestly don't want to see the snow. I don't like being stuck at the house. One pretty snow a winter is enough.

Eating the Right Food

I have decided that just eating diet food is not all it is going to take to get rid of these few pounds. It is going to take eating foods that burn fat. After doing some research this morning, I am going to go grocery shopping for the right foods and not just salad ingredients. Don't get me wrong, I love salads, but I also want something that is going to help this process. The sooner I start eating right, the sooner I will drop this weight.

I Hate Procrastinating

I hate the way I am always procrastinating and waiting until the last minute to do something. I have had a certain event on my calendar for months and now it is only a few weeks away. This means I need to find some diets for quick weight loss as soon as possible. I do plan on starting something tomorrow, but I would prefer to find something that works so I don't waste any time. Got any ideas?

Weight Loss Can Be a Struggle

If you are trying to lose weight, then I know first hand that it can be hard. I have lost and gained, only to lose again. It goes up and down all the time. I do, however, take some natural weight loss supplements to help me maintain my weight when I am having a hard time. In some cases they have been a true lifesaver. They always seem to work like a charm when I need them the most. If I get hungry, they help me fight it. My only problem is getting started, but once I am started, then I have what it takes to keep going.

New Things to Try

As many of you know, I am always looking at new things to try. Here lately I have been trying out a new anti wrinkle cream and to tell you the truth, I love it. It is really doing a good job and it's not only me that thinks this. I have had some friends say they have noticed a big difference in my skin. Encouragement such as this, is what keeps me using a product and knowing it works. If you've never tried it, then you're definitely missing out.

Colon Cleansing

I have been reading a colon cleanser review and didn't realize all the things that colon cleansing could help. Apparently, we have more in our body to get rid of than I what I thought. I am highly considering giving this a try to see if I might feel better. It seems lately I have been dragging and feeling bad. Anything is worth a try. I'll let you know how it goes.

What Most People Won't Tell You

I know there are touchy subjects that most people wouldn't dare talk about, but sometimes you will find that if some people will just share with you what they know it will leave you thinking, "I'm so glad they weren't embarrassed to talk about that."  I'm kind of like that. I had a friend that was in so much pain from hemorrhoids, that she was willing to talk to anyone about it to try and find out what she could do. She ended up finding some hemorrhoids pain relief and now she is willing to tell any and everyone about it. Sometimes it takes you having something happen to you before you put your ego to rest and share it with the world. It's people like this that helps everyone else. I'm so proud of her and what she has done to help others.

Going on a Business Trip

My husband is usually the one that takes all the business trips, but in a couple of months I am going to have to go to Florida on a business trip myself. The only difference between my husband's trips and mine is I have to pay my hotel expense. I know I can write it off on my taxes, but I had rather find something that is affordable, yet nice. I have been looking at some different miami hotels I like. I would love to know anyone's opinion about a hotel in that are in which you have stayed.

Computer Thoughts

As many of you already know I work on my computer for almost 12 or 14 hours a day, if not more on some days. Needless to say, my computer has everything important on it and has files and folders I would just die if I lost. I have been thinking about some type of secure online backup. I plan on putting this on my agenda this week to look into. If something were to happen, then I need to be safe. I definitely don't need to wait until it happens and then regret not doing anything about it.

My Husband's Idea

My husband was home this weekend after being gone for about a week on a business trip. He came in the door and within about 30 minutes, he was already talking about vacations and places we should go. The first thing he said was I should check into some Outer Banks vacation rentals. I was shocked he mentioned this. I'm not sure if I am more surprised he wanted to go on a vacation or whether he was telling me where to check at online. Either way, I don't care because I love going on trips.

My Favorite Pass Time

I actually have several things I like to do to pass time. One of them is digital scrapbooking. However, that doesn't particularly let me relax like I want too because I find myself getting frustrating while working with the pictures. If I had to chose one thing that I truly enjoy doing while relaxing, that would be reading books. I enjoy most all kinds of books. My biggest problem is finding the time to finish them. It seems like lately each time I start one I don't have the time to finish it.

In Time of Need

A friend of ours has a motor home almost identical to the one we have. That's beside the point, but he called us the other night from a couple of towns over. His motor home had broke down and he was in major need of motorhome towing. I told my husband, that is why I am thankful for our good standing with Good Sam. We don't have to worry about things such as this and I'm almost certain after this incident with our friend, he won't have to worry about it anymore either. He is going to take care of situations like this and not be left hanging when it happens again. Sometimes it takes being taught a lesson.
